I love music awards shows. The main reason that I watch them is not to see who takes home the trophies and prizes, but to see the performances. Last night’s Country Music Association Awards performances definitely did not disappoint. I was so excited with the duets this year too. I mean Rihanna and Jennifer Nettles, yes please! Country music is one of my favorite genres because I grew up on it, and I know many people like to think it’s depressing and sad music. Let’s be honest though, country music should really have a place in everyone’s heart. Most of the songs are so easy to relate to, and no matter where you’re from you have to have a little country or redneck in you. Continue reading
